Kurt and Lisa Noble are Special Olympic Athletes, Athlete Leaders and advocates for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Between the two of them they have been involved in Special Olympics for 56 years! They have had many achievements both on and off the playing field including Lisa’s current role as the Chair and Great Lakes Representative of the Special Olympics United States Athlete Leadership Council and Kurt’s many years of helping with his local police department and the Law Enforcement Torch Run.
They also have had the great honor of attending many great events including the 2023 World Games in Germany, where Lisa was one of 64 athletes from around the world that attended the Global Congress and Kurt volunteered at the bocce venue. Their favorite event they have gotten to do so far is attend a State Dinner at the White House back in December 2024, where they had the great honor of getting a selfie with President Biden.
They believe that everyone has unique talents and stories worth sharing. Through their efforts, they strive to show that individuals with intellectual disabilities can succeed in whatever they want to do if they have the right support.
