Kurt and Lisa Noble are Special Olympic Athletes, Athlete Leaders and a husband-and-wife team from Evanston Illinois. Between the two of them they have been involved in Special Olympics for 56 years! Kurt started in 1979 and got Lisa involved in 2013 after major surgery on her neck. They have had many achievements both on and off the playing field including Lisa’s current role as the Chair of the Special Olympics United States Athlete Leadership Council and Kurt’s many years of helping with the Torch Run. They also have had the great honor of attending the 2023 World Games in Germany. While there Lisa attended the Global Congress and Kurt volunteered at the bocce venue. Their favorite thing they have gotten to do so far is attending a State Dinner at the White House back in December and even got a selfie with President Biden.
